Retrospective of the works of the painter Rolande Hubert Leveugle
Discover the artistic universe of Rolande Hubert Leveugle, French painter.
Trained in the renowned schools of Fine Arts of Douai and Paris, this adept of the work on the motif and figurative art, has, over time, specialized in watercolor and pastel that she uses mainly to make portraits.
These pages pay tribute to his career from his beginnings in Douai in the 1940s to his death in June 2022.
More than 300 paintings have been listed. They are representative of Rolande Hubert Leveugle‘s work but are far from covering the totality of her oeuvre. In addition to their artistic interest, some of them have become testimonies of a past that has disappeared forever.
A few short videos made from old 8 mm films, that the artist has kindly entrusted, punctuate these pages and reveal a little of his private life.
